SYSTEM COURTESY AND TAIL TONES 

You will notice all sorts of beeps when using the repeaters. Unlike some repeaters, the various tones serve an actual purpose to let you know which band input or interface a signal was received on.  When first coming onto either repeater, it’s a good idea to listen for a minute or two even before announcing your presence.
